Abstract
This tool is designed to facilitate determine the condition of the motorcycle battery. This tool uses microkontroler ATMega8535 as control of the whole process of charging batteries. The tool is expected to be used as a means of charging batteries are easy to use and can be used by the public. In making the tools used several steps, namely: system design, covering Microcontroller ATmega8535 as controlling the whole process, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) as an indicator of the display, and Buzzer as an indicator. The design of components and circuits, including microcontroller circuit, power supply circuit, reset circuit, Buzzer indicator, and the downloader, the oscillator circuit, and a series of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). In designing the software using the programming language C. For testing done by charging the battery and measure the current and voltage. The result of this final project is a tool battery charger is capable of charging the batteries empty 3 times. The use of LCD and Buzzer as indicators also facilitate the monitoring of charging the battery. When the battery is fully charged, the tool will automatically stop the charging process and Buzzer was inactive. So that the entire charging process to be more effective and efficient.
