Abstract
This study aims to determine the financial condition of the plantation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2014 based on the analysis of bankruptcy Altman Z-Score. The data used are secondary data from published statements of financial position in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is a quantitative method of multiple analysis documentation. Based on the Altman Z-Score, a study of ten companies listed plantation sub-sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2014 showed that seven companies stated in the estimation of bankruptcy for three years in a row. There is one company that is expressed in the estimation prone bankrupt and the two companies are estimated to be in a healthy state. Suggestions for the next researcher who conduct similar research in order to use other bankruptcy prediction methods, to be used as a comparison in predicting bankruptcy. Moreover, also conducted research sectors and sub-sectors other than plantation sub-sector to prove that the Altman Z-Score can be set to predict bankruptcy on different types of enterprises.
