Abstract

This final report analyzed the effect of light intensity and weather toward solar panel efficiency value. The object of this research are three pieces of 50 WP solar modul. The calculation of efficiency did after data collecting that is measuring of light intensity at the surface of solar panel, output current, and output voltage. The research did for three days start at 13.00 WIB until 15.00 WIB. The result shows the highest efficiency is 48,1% produced at cloudy weather with light intensity in amount of 25,47 Watt/m2, while the highest input power is 88,74 Watt and the highest output power is 26,00 Watt. Efficiency shows the solar panel performance where the temperature also influence the efficiency. The increase of ligth intensity at the surface of solar panel, higher the temperature of solar panel, therefore the efficiency value is reduced.
