Abstract

This final report entitled "PING Ultrasonic Sensor As Automatic Switching On PCB Drilling Machine". This tool is designed as a tool drills PCB automatically based microcontroller ATmega16 by applying multiple sensors such as ultrasonic sensors and Hall Effect sensor. PCB drilling machine is equipped with four-speed mode that can be used as needed. The function of the ultrasonic sensor is a switch on/off automatically on detection of the distance between the drill and the base. Drilling machine will drop slowly due to the pull of the motor Power Window. When located right above the PCB, Power Window will stop for 3 seconds to give a brief moment to the user to easily adjust the perforation with the drill, then Power Window will attract more drilling machine to successfully perforate the PCB. The purpose of the tool is expected to facilitate and give a sense of security when conducting the drilling process PCB. Beside it, can applyapplications of sensoron PCB drilling machine that previously were manual to automatic in the case of the switch, speed, and lower or raise drilling machine automatically.
