Abstract
This research aims to examine empirically the effect of Intellectual Capital to Return on Investment. The data used are secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the periode of 2011-2015, the data is taken from financial statements are the profit/loss and statement of financial position. In this research, the measurement model Intellectual Capital use model Pulic, with the method of measurement is Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC), which are a component of Value Added Capital Employed (VACA), Value Added Human Capital (VAHU) and Structural Capital Value Added (STVA). The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis using variables VACA, VAHU and STVA. The results of the hypothesis test from Coefficients test or t test showed of three independent variables, variables VAHU and VACA a significant positive effect to ROI while variable STVA no a significant positive effect to ROI. The results of the ANOVA test or F test shows that Intellectual Capital is measured through the method of Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC) with a variable component are VACA, VAHU and STVA simultaneously a significant positive effect to ROI. Further research can add a number of samples or a longer period because the result of this research is limited only 6th mining companies into the samples, so that future studies can provide a more perfect and suggested to reexamine variables during stable economic condition in sector mining to prove the possibility result which different with this research.
