Abstract
The writing purpose of this final report is to analyze the effectiveness and contribution of tax hotel and entertainment tax to local revenue at MusiBanyuasin district. The writer makes observation, take data, and interview at The Office For Management Of Regional Revenue, Finance and Assets at MusiBanyuasin District which is at Kolonel Wahid Udin street, KelurahanKayuara, KecamatanSekayu. Based on the data, Regional Government Budget Report from 2011 to 2015, the effectiveness for hotel tax at 2011 until 2014 is very effective and at 2015 it isn’t effective. The effectiveness of entertainment tax at 2011 is very effective, it is effective at 2012 and at 2013 to 2015, the effectiveness for entertainment tax isn’t effective. The contribution of hotel tax and entertainment tax overall are very less to local revenue MusiBanyuasin District. It is because the tax payer’s lack of knowledge about the importance at paying taxes.
