Abstract

This Final Report titled Existing Studies and Drainage Network Planning in Bukit Sejahtera Poligon Village Palembang. One purpose of this report was to determine the cause of flooding and excess water discharge at the existing drainage network of the study area. From the results of existing studies and analysis of the results of calculations, required widening of the existing drainage network and the outlet end of the plan as a shelter and water infiltration while. Primary data and secondary data obtained from the results of field studies and other sources were analyzed to obtain the ratio between the flow rate based on the capacity of existing conditions and flow rates that occur based on the calculation of the flow of water catchment area of rain and sewage discharge. In analyzing the data used several methods derived from the reference books. The calculation methods include log Pearson III method to analyze the rainfall data, Mononobe method to obtain the rainfall intensity, the Rational Method to obtain the design discharge of rain, and the Manning formula to obtain the slope of the channel base.
