Abstract

Often seen and have experienced events where the utilization of electrical energy not used optimally, especially in residences makes some reason want to know what will happen if it is continuously. Is the loads remains electrified during standby or off can permeate the power? Calculation of power losses mounted load the main objective is to determine how much power is absorbed from the burdens on standby. From the research that has been done on housing Bumi Sako Damai (BSD) with a power of 900 VA, 1300 VA. To simplify the calculation when condition loads standby authors use application ETAP 12.6. It can result in showing that in fact burdens that do not use it or in standby mode affects the cost of electric energy consumption, still absorbing and energy absorption average of> 1% of the existing power supply.From the calculation of the cost of electrical energy consumption, it appears that unused power affect the cost of electrical energy consumption, if the cost of unused standby time is ignored, then the average usage charges will be reduced to 900 VA power will cost saving of about Rp.1.306, and for power 1,300 VA will cost saving around Rp.2.103.
