Abstract
SPEED CONTROL ANALYSIS THREE PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR USING VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE IN PENGANTONGAN 2D PT. PUPUK SRIWIDJAJA (2014: 44 Page+List of Images+List of Tables+Attachments) KEMAS NUR FUADI 0611 3031 0871 Electrical Engineering Department Program Study Electric Engineering Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya The electric motor has developed very rapidly in all fields, especially in the field of industry, the electric motor is the most widely used induction motor because it is simple and sturdy construction, the price is relatively cheap, easy to maintain. Once produced, the motor is expected to work normally with predetermined characteristics. However, in particular the use of induction motors in presence of desired speed setting. The speed setting can be done in several ways, namely by changing the number of poles of the motor, set the prisoners outside and change the frequency of the grid. to change the frequency of the grid can be used a tool, namely VSD (Variable Speed Drive). In this Final Report discussed the effect that occurs on the motor speed to changes in frequency when the motor is operating with a load of urea and when the motor is operating without a load of urea, with a weight of 250 kg (5 bags).
