THE ANALYSIS OF EFFECTIVENESS AND CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE VEHICLE TAX ON WATER IN LOCAL REVENUE AT REGIONAL REVENUE OFFICE OF SOUTH SUMATRA PROVINCE Nyimas Desi Kurnia Sari, 2016 (xiv+55 Pages) Email: dnyimas55@gmail.com Majoring Accounting State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya This final report was made aiming to meet one of the requirements in completing education Diploma of Accounting Department State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. In its final report, the writer chose subjects Tax titled "The Analysis of Effectiveness and Contributions of The Vehichle Tax on Water in Local Revenue at Regional Revenue Office of South Sumatra Province". Regional Revenue Office of South Sumatra Province is one of the state agency in charge of Regional Tax levy. The purpose of this paper to determine the role of the development of vehicle tax on water in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. Based on the writing done, the authors analyzed the data with used formula effectiveness and contribution. The results of this study concluded that the level of effectiveness of vehicle tax on water is very high, while the contribution rate of vehicle tax on water to the original income is very small. Based on the calculation, Vehicle Tax on water over the last five years has not supported the Regional Tax revenues.
