Abstract

The transformer is a very important part in the distribution of electrical energy. Therefore, the transformer must be maintained properly so that reliability is maintained. Even so, the transformer still be getting a disturbance. To minimize , it need analysis of the disturbance in order to avoid the another transformer to get the same disturbance. The final report is analyze the way a visual observation on the part of the substation transformers and components and perform measurements on the transformer to determine the insulation resistance. The result of these observations by a case study on I. 533 substation, the capacity is 400 kVA and the voltage is 20 kV/400 V that there is damage of bushing. The bushing is burned the temperature is , Fuse cut out is disconnected, it caused by the S phase is disconnect, so that the currents are very large and more than the setting value of the fuse cut-out. The short-circuit current is 14.433,8 A and the rated current of the fuse cut-out is 16 A. Keywords: Distribution Transformer, Fault Transformer, Short Circuit
