Abstract

Dian Regency Palembang has 4 Ha area, with population growth and infrastructure are increasing from year to year, thereby also increasing the need for clean water, but in the provision of clean water that is less well served. For it is necessary to review the water distribution network system, which aims to find out how much water discharge to be flown on the matter, so that clean water needs are met equally. Water distribution networks are designed using branch system. To calculate the population projections in the next 10 years uses the Arithmetic, Geometric and Exponential method, from the calculations, it finds the amount of water required in the Dian Regency Palembang, then make a calculation on each element of the discharge pipe network using Strickler Formula with Manning coefficient. From the calculation of the projected number of serving residents in Dian Regency Palembang are 1.180 people until the year 2031. Total discharge of clean water needs in 2015 at 277.276,44 liter/day and total discharge in 2031 at 288.575,47 liter/day. Thus necessary to discharge the addition of 11.299,03 liter/day to achieve clean water needs by 2031. From the calculation of budget plan to improving water distribution system needs fund Rp Rp 1.145.618.000,00 with 48 working days.
