Abstract

Regional Sepakat-Kalidoni is a residential area that is growing from year to year, but common obstacle for the residents in the area, namely the provision of clean water that is less well served. Due to loss of water (NRW) in the system of water distribution pipelines that cause water pollution and the resulting distributed experiencing the amount of water delivered is as it should be. The purpose of the writer wants to know the cause of the loss of water (NRW) and how to cope with the loss of water in the distribution network PDAM in the area The methodlogyused is by collecting secondary data and primary data. Secondary data were obtained from the relevant authorities (PDAM), among otherimagesand datadistribution networkDMAcustomerwater usageper month. Taken from January toA pril. Forprimary data obtained by survey and direct observation to the field by examining the step test in the DMA, the DMA Sepakat.Testing step test isconducted her two stages each month consisting of three zones.From theresults ofthestep test known location of the point oflossing water, andcan unknown causes. And made improvement storeduce therate ofwater loss.From there sults of the testing step test, obtained the location of the point of the leakand repairs.
