Abstract
This final report entitled “Analysis of The Liquidity and Activity Ratio at the PT Muara Dua Palembang.” The data were collected through interview, observations and the library research. Collecting data to analyze the material is taken from the PT Muara Dua Palembang Kolonel Haji Burlian street No. 73 KM 8,5 Palembang. From this company, a writer get the form data and financial data needed to prepare this final report. In this final report, the author conducted the analysis based on the theory that there is. Analysis used the analysis of comparative balance sheet, the analysis of liquidity ratio and the analysis of activity ratio. Based on the results of the analysis, the author concludes that the company has the low liquidity level. This condition can effect the company get the difficulty in paying immediately due the current liabilities and company got trouble in pay that soon deadline and company got claim cirde under general standard of company that signed over investment claim, the company need long time in collect the debts. It caused the more big incollect claim number that got in company. Otherwise, company has the hight inventory. It is caused by the bad company’s policy management in optimizing the sales and lack of controlling in the purchase which cause the lack of inventory and duration of inventory in the werehouse in each period.
