Abstract
SyarisdaFitriana061130310166 ElectricalEngineeringDepartmentofElectricalEngineeringProgramStatePolytechnicofSriwijayaPalembang Whentheweatheriscloudyorrainysunlightisusuallynotwellreceivedbythesolarcellsothatcausinginstabilityofelectricalenergyreceivedanstoredintothebattery.Thecaseatanytimeduringthedayvoltageproducedbythesuncanexceedthecapacityofthebattery.Thatiswhyweneedaregulatorthatcancontrolandstabilizetheelectricalenergyinordertochargethebatterytobeconstantorstableatthedesiredoltage.Thefinalreportinvestigatesregulatorsettingsforbatterycharging.Theinvestigationcarriedoutbymeasuringthesolarcellregulatorinputandoutputregulatorthatgoestothebattery.Measurementscarriedoutinthelaboratoryofelectricalengineering.Themeasurementresultsshowthattheresultingvoltagesolarcell/(Vin)regulatorwithamaximumlightintensityof12V.Whiletheminimumvoltageof4V.Soiftheresultingvoltagesolarcell/(Vin)regulatorsvaryboththevoltageof4Valthough12V,voltagewhichwillberesultingbythe(Vout)regulatorwillberelativelyconstantat11.37V-11.39V.Soitissuitableforchargingelectricenergytothebatterysothebatterydoesnotrunintoobstacles.
