Regional Office of Directorate General of Taxation Sumsel and Babel Islands is one of the commercial building which is engaged in services of tax in Palembang.In this building has electric power generator sets with a capacity of 500 kVA with a power supply of 320 kW. To determine the suitability of electric power capacity GENSET load electrical power used in the Regional Office of Directorate General of Taxation Sumsel and Islands Babel then calculated the total installed load in the office, in order to get the comparison results.GENSET load capacity of electricity in the offices of 320 kW nameplate drawn from the data sets. From the analysis and calculations, load electric power installed in South Sumatra Regional Office DG Taxation and Islands Babel of 387 kW is not comparable to the capacity of the electric power generator in the office. The amount of installed power in the re-evaluation makes the need for a power supply backup power be requiredof the office in order to achieve electrical installation system that is reliable, secure and efficient.
