Abstract

The final report is entitled "The Use of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) RC-522 Sensor As Security Systems In Electric Car". This device is designed as a safety system in electric cars using Arduino UNO microcontroller by applying RFID or Radio Frequency Identification and is combined with the 3x4 matrix keypad. Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) uses radio frequency waves. This sensor can be identified without the need for direct contact. The RFID sensor is considered superior to the barcode (barcode), because the bar code is limited visibility of its reader. This electric car users must have card-tag that can be used to enable RFID and then enter a valid password. If the person does not have card-RFID tags that correspond to, then it can not activate the RFID let alone enter a password. The purpose of this device, expected by the double security system such as this, can minimize the number of crimes that might occur in the electric car is that people did not responsible.
