Abstract
Design of speed detection and counter of vehicle based of arduino uno use HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is design to reduce the causes of an accident and can easily see the speed detection of vehicle who passing through the road still in the provision or violates the established provisions and to know the counter of vehicles passing through the road. Simulation speed detection and counter of vehicle will work when a vehicle pass the road that had been installed two HC-SR04 ultrasonic censor. HC-SR04 ultrasonic censor is used as a speed detection of vehicle and the second of ultrasonic censors is used to determine the total of vehicle who passing through the road and all the data will be processed by the arduino uno and will generate output to see the speed and the total of vehicle on the LCD. When a vehicle passing through the road by exceeding the maximum speed limit that has been set then the ultrasonic censor will detect the speed and send it to the arduino uno then displayed through the LCD and modem wavecom will send sms of vehicle speed who exceed the maximum speed limit that has been set.
