Abstract

Oil palms are important industrial plants. They are used in commercial agriculture in the production produces a lot of waste namely oil palm fronds. Oil pam fronds can be made fuel. But the utilization still uses a simple process. It proceeds manually that spends much time and also takes mmuch enery. From this problem, it appears an effective solution toward the proces of making crusher palm frond. That produces heat energy. The making prrocess is more effiecient in time an energy. One of the way is by using BASCOM AVR application. This tool work system is the crusher palm frond controlled by microcontroller ATMega 128. This tool is completed by phototransistor censor that functions to detect raw materials. And then the motor fuctions as mover and also LCD as output display. The raw materials that have been included into burning tube will be burned. After burning, the raw materials will be in rollers until pulverized so that it will be ready to become dough in making briquettes. This tool is controlled by smartphone in the form of SMS and DTMF. So that, this tool can be controlled remotely. By this tool, it will be hopeed that the process of briquetting will be shorter in time. In the conclusion, the time of briquetting and controlling tool remotely are the aim of the making of this tool.
