Abstract

Earthing system of power transformer equipments 4 on Talang Ratu Substation Palembang using Rod, where the system is done by implanting an electrode rod perpendicular to the ground, as well as considering the planting depth rod electrode with resistivity value of land, which can lead to the grounding resistance value (R) , touch voltage (Em) and voltage step (Eℓ ) a better and safer. The preliminary analysis was conducted to determine the value of resistance in the rod electrodes that have been implanted in 2 point 4 Power transformer earthing equipment in the Talang Ratu Substation totaling 2 rod electrodes, the electrode rod length is 1 meter, and the measurement results of the two rod electrodes resistivity values is 0.0615 ohm. With the results of the analysis of the value of earthing equipment that has been done, can know the value of touch voltages security (Em) and voltage step ( ℓ ), the value of the actual touch voltage 4.29 V is obtained, these results are still below the allowable touch voltage value that is equal to 165V and voltage actual steps of 1.06 V is obtained, this result is still below the allowed step voltage is equal to 10.72 V, so the value of touch voltages and step voltages on the Power transformer 4 Talang Ratu Substation PT.PLN (Persero) Palembang already meet the standards and still not harmful to humans.
