Abstract

Commonly, the reach access of wi-fi signal is very limited (around 5 meters), so that the acception of Wi-Fi signal is also limited, either in terms of quality or distance reach. Based on above, so that the writer try to show a solution with creating antenna devices that suitable with the final report’s title, it is an antenna design “Yagi Parabolic” for signal 2.4GHz at USB Wi-Fi Adapter system. The matters is showed how to create an antenna that could strengthen the signal and also increasing the Wi-Fi distance reach. Matters are limited in the antenna design, measuring and testing antenna. The purpose of making the antenna are for strengthen the signal , and also increasing the reach of wi-fi signal. So that “Yagi Parabolic” is created for solving the matters above. The design including the antenna yagi’s design and the parabola reflector. The yagi parabolic was produced with the gain testing result at much as 14,15 until 17,15 dB.
