Abstract

Grounding system functions to reduce flow disturbances that occur in such a short circuit voltage and current to leak on the equipment. Given the existence of the possibility of damage from lightning strikes on electrical appliances is dangerous enough, then the appear efforts to address the dangers of lightning arrester by placing a lightning (lightning rod) that keluaranya is connected to the ground using the electrode rod (ground rod). From the grounding system is examined in Limau field PT.Pertamina EP region sumatera Prabumulih field, to the depths of the most superficial of 120 cm obtained the value of grounding of 20,71 (for measuring) and 18,68 (for calculation), while at the deepest depth of 200 cm obtained the value of grounding of 9.14 (for measuring) and 12,54 (for calculation).
