Abstract

The final report is entitled "Automatic Process of Sorting Fruits Based on The Color Using TCS3200 Sensor by Microcontroller ATMega32". TCS3200 as color detection sensor on the sorting fruit base on the color by Microcontroller ATMega32. TCS3200 sensor can detect three colors that is red, yellow and green. Result of output frequency when TCS3200 sensor detects red fruit is 28 KHz, yelow fruit is 30,6 KHz and green fruit is 34,8 KHz. This fruit sorter requires control circuit that is minimum system ATMega32. Output of TCS3200 sensor is LCD. LCD will display RGB values and name of color is detected by TCS3200 sensor on the fruit. TCS3200 sensor also will activate conveyor and one of three HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, so that conveyor will be active to run a fruit and conveyor will stop if HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor detects a fruit is already on the track. DC motor will push fruit, so the fruit of red, yellow and green will be enter into each box. The purpose of this fruit sorter apply TCS3200 sensor on selection system from manual to automatic in terms of uniformity of fruit based on color.
