Abstract
The development of technology has created a variety of media, especially in helping the process of data processing that makes it easy. One such technology is the computer, which is used to help generate information effectively and efficiently. The use of computers to generate information to be very important in every company. One is at Ministry of Public Works Central River Region Sumatera VIII. The Ministry of Public Works Central River Region Sumatera VIII is the agency that is conducting activities management of water resources in the river basin that includes planning, construction, operation and maintenance in the context of the conservation and utilization of water resources and control of water resources in rivers, lakes, reservoirs and other water storage, irrigation, ground water, raw water, marsh, ponds and beaches. And has a function as operational technical policy formulation and management development in the field of public works. Data processing at the Ministry of Public Works Central River Region Sumatera VIII are still done manually. To realize the solution of these problems, need for an Applications of Data Processing using web based Project Programming PHP and MYSQL Database at the Ministry of Public Works Central River Region Sumatera VIII.
