Abstract
Outer Ring Road West Banyuasin - Jakabaring South Sumatra is a road to exit the city of Palembang, this road has a very important role in promoting economic growth both locally and nationally. In writing this final report, the authors wanted to know how good planning in planning and bold geometric design of flexible pavement on West Outer Ring road Banyuasin- Jakabaring South Sumatra, so the road to be traversed to provide safety and comfort for road users as well as the costs economical. In planning a highway geometric design, there are things that are a reference in the planning includes the calculation of horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, and to determine what to use pavement. From the above calculation, Outer Ring Road West Banyuasin-Palembang in South Sumatra is an arterial road with a speed class II A plan of 60 s / d 80 km / h, and in this way using 10 pieces bend. Laston the surface layer using a 10 cm thick, crushed stone base layer using class A with a thickness of 15 cm, while using a gravel subbase layer of class B with a thickness of 20 cm. Road development is carried out within 136 days with a total fund of Rp. 75,423,384,000.00
