Abstract
In addition, planning a building must be planned and calculated carefully by paying attention to cost, quality, and time so in accordance with the planned. This is because the building will generally be used for long periods of time for personal and public interest. Careful planning will generate a strong, safe, and comfortable building which appropriate to the requirements that have been set. The planning of the development of this public water aquarium research center which aims to assist the ASEAFDEC country in managing the common aquatic fisheries resources in the ASEAN region on an ongoing basis. Hence, with building construction Palembang city will be more advanced. Furthermore, on the planning of the building structure, refers to the procedure of calculation of concrete structure for building building (SNI 03-2847-2002 and SNI 03-2847-2013), planning guidance for house and building (PPURG 1987), and reinforced concrete structure planning SNI 2847-2003. In conclusion, the building planning is safe and stable.
