Abstract

Regional Rambang Kapak Tengah is a resindential area tat isi growing from year to year, but common obstacle for the residents in the area, namely the provision of fresh water that is less well served. Due to loss of water (NRW) in the system of water distribution pipelines that water pollution and the resulting distributed experiencing the amount of water delivered is as it should be. The writer purpose of writer wants to know the cause of the loss of water (NRW) and how to overcome the loss of water in PDAM distribution network in this area. The methodology used is by collecting secondary data and primary data. Secondary data were obtained from the relevant authorities (PDAM), that are images and data distribution network DMA customer water usage per month. Taken from February to April. For primary data obtained by survey and direct observation to the field by examining the step test in the DMA, the DMA Rambang Kapak Tengah. Testing step test is conducted her one stage each month consisting of three zones. From there sults of the step test known location of the point of losing water, and can unknown causes. and made Improvement store duce therate of water loss. From there sults og the testing step test, obtained the location of the point of the leak and repairs.
