Abstract

This final report describes how to monitor heavy vehicles entering the microcontroller-based city border route as the main control unit. To detect heavy vehicles using LDR sensors by utilizing the reflection of light from the laser. Heavy vehicles can be detected based on their large size by looking at the height and length of the vehicle. When the LDR sensor detects the object (heavy vehicle) then the webcam takes the capture of the image to find out what object is covering the sensor, after which the alarm will sound to inform the patrol officer that there are heavy vehicles entering the city border road, and automatically or manually motor Servo will cover the road so that heavy vehicles do not enter into the city.
