Abstract
Lighting technology in providing lighting at this time has a lot of help community activities in doing their daily work, especially for activities in the hospital. Inside the hospital desperately need lights for lighting especially in patient rooms. During this time to control the lamp in the patient's room using a switch, it is very ineffective for patients who can not move and walk when it wants to control the lights because they have to ask for help from others. For the convenience of patients who can not move and walk, it is necessary for the development of technology to control the lamp. This lamp controller uses sound inserted into the Michrophone which is connected to the Voice Recognition Module as the sound sensor, Arduino as data processing, and the lamp as output. First voice input using Michrophone then sound will be read by Voice Recognition Module and will be processed by Arduino then arduino will give action to relay. If the relay is active then the output light will light up and if the relay is off then the output will turn off. With the creation of this tool, it is expected to facilitate patients in hospitals who can not move and walk to turn on and off the lights.
