Abstract
This research is focused on how to design a booklet of “The Heritage of Palembang Kingdom and Palembang Darussalam Sultanate” written in both English and Indonesian languages. The Research and Development method modified by Sukmadinata (2005) was used in this study. The method consists of three main steps: preliminary study, model development, and final product testing. In designing the booklet, knowledge about the heritage of Palembang Kingdom and Palembang Darussalam Sultanate, English and Indonesian languages skills, and graphic design knowledge and skill were really needed. In developing the draft of the booklet, the comments and suggestions from the experts were very valuable.
