Abstract
The title of this final report is “The Analysis of Prepositions Found in SugengHariyanto Storybook”. The purpose of this final report is to identify clearly the prepositions found in the Sugeng Hariyanto Storybook. The method of this final report is descriptive method. The object of this research is the story book of SugengHariyanto revised edition in 2013. The data was collected through documentation. Based on the findings, the writer concludes that there are 333 prepositions with 31 different prepositions found in Sugeng Hariyanto storybook. The types of prepositions are simple preposition, double preposition, compound preposition, and participial preposition. There are 9 categories of preposition based on the meaning found in Sugeng Hariyanto storybook. They are place, position; time; direction; identification; manner; agent; cause, reason, purpose; inference, motive, source, origin; and possession.
