Abstract
Continuity of electricity distribution is very important for the whole community of the society. However, some faults that occurred on 20 kV feeders can disrupt its continuity, so it should be analyzed carefully to find the solutions for preventing and solving those faults. The final report discusses the analysis of faults on the feeders which frequently disorders in PT . Rival Rayon PLN, namely kelingi feeder from a period of November 2013 until March 2014. It used some methodes, namely the survey, literature study and interviews with the employees of PT . PLN Rayon Rivai. The results of the calculations showed that the maximum of the fault current is 3.950,9 Amperes, while the minimum of the fault current is 277,61 Amperes. From the discussion , the faults at Kelingi feeder caused the reliability decreasing in a period of November 2013 until March 2014 and also, the increasing of losses energy which amounts to 746 %. Based on the analysis of the author, the fault causing in kelingi feeder are the most common due to momentary interruption which is triggered by kites and trees, and the second common cause is due to the rain and wind. Key word : Fault, Reliability, Safety
