Abstract

The purpose of this final report is to create a tool to monitor the use of electrical power in a boarding house using SMS gateway to provide convenience for non-toll electric users in order to monitor the use of electrical power. This Tool uses Arduino Mega 2560, SIM900A, RTC, LCD, and WCS1800 current sensor where the current sensor functions as a powerful electric current meter to read how much current and electrical power will perform on the LCD. Meanwhile, to know how much the tariff of electricity usage by using via SMS. In this tool when the power exceeds the 450 Watt power capacity it will be given a warning via via SMS.
