Abstract
To find out the values of power loss and generator’s efficiency on GTG 4006-J in PUSRI IV PT. PUSRI Palembang, done by collecting the data based on the from of current and load power used in the generator, then do s calculating with manual and with inputing variables that need into M-File script in MATLAB software and perform calculation by using GUI program. Regarding to calculation results using both of that method, it can be concluded that the values of power loss and generator’s efficiency on is strongly influenced by the load current and load power used by the generator. The higher the load current and load power used on the generator, then the higher power loss value of the generator and efficiency level from generator will be the lower.
