Abstract

Revitalization Building at University of Tridinanti Palembang located in the area of kamboja is a building that has a height of 36 meters. This building has a lightning strike (R) of 16 with an average stroke of 762 Flashing / Year, much needed to have a lightning protection system. Based on the calculation using the Mesh Sized Method obtained area of protection from 1.994 m2 of 2103 m2 area with a protection radius of 25.2 meters, is able to protect from lightning strike damage. Grounding onRevitalization Building at University of Tridinanti Palembang consists of 1 electrode rod and has a length of 5 meters with a ground resistance of 1.8 ohm.
