Abstract

In the construction of a power station is done a mature planning in order to know the maximum potential of PLTPH. Potentials that need to be known in this planning include, large water discharge, high effective fall is used, the potential of electrical power that can be generated on PLTPH so it can be used for the needs of consumers in everyday. From the calculation and analysis obtained the water discharge used 0,011 m3 / s. Determination of the classification of turbines based on the effective fall height used at 5 m then used turbine kaplan or propeller. With a water discharge of 0.011 m3 / s and a maximum effective fall of 5 m then obtained electric power of 436,59 watts. Planning that has been prepared is to find out suitable conditions in the construction of the plant. A suitable location such as mountains or places that have a good water source. Electrical energy generated by the power plant is used for consumers and also not dependent on the State Electricity Company (PLN) this is also to save electricity energy generated by PLN.
