Abstract
Generator is main object at a power plant is produce the electric. Generator will be maximum operating when load increased and minimum operating when load decreased. However, when generator operated continuously, can get increased the total losses dan would reduce their efficiency. If this had happened, it can be shortening generator lives. Total losses value, depending amount of current and resistence, the largest losses total value of the calculation is 1262.8 kW, efficiency of obtained of 84.8 %, the difference 6 % from the largest efficiency that is 90.4 %. While, calculation using ETAP the analysis program electricity through analysis operation generator. The result obtained is 50 %.
