Abstract
The final report was made as a prerequisite for completing education at the Department of Accounting Diploma Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Palembang. The title of this final report is "Analysis of Sources and Uses of Working Capital On The Level Profitability in CV Dian Pratama Palembang." This company is located at street No. R. Sukamto. 08 Palembang. From on secondary data in the from financial statements obtained through interviews and documentation, the authors found some problems, which is not good management of resources and use of working capital in CV Dian Pratama Palembang. In the year 2011-2012 the use of working capital is greater than the source of working capital and the 2012-2013 resource of working capital greater than its use. Working capital available, it is not used effectively and efficiently to improve profits. Sources of working capital are also obtained ineffective and not suitable with needs (many acquisition but use a little) so that resulting in available funds became unemployed. The company has squandered an opportunity to maximize profits. Therefore, the authors provide suggestions for progress of the CV Dian Pratama, the company must manage working capital in order to achieve the maximum profit. Should the sources of working capital acquired companies cheap of acquisition must match the needs and sources of working capital acpuired should be used effectively and according with the main activities of the company.
