Abstract
The Effect of Current Ratio (CR), Debt Equity Ratio (DER), Total Assets Turn Over (TATO) and Return On Equity (ROE) of the Profit Growth at the Manufacturing Companies Base Industry and Chemical Sectors Christy Widyaningsih, 2014 (xiii + 43 pages) Email: christy.widya@yahoo.com This research aim to know the effect of the Current Ratio (CR), Debt Equity Ratio (DER), Total Assets Turn Over (TATO) and Return On Equity (ROE) of the profit growth at the manufacturing companies base industry and chemical sectors. The Independent variables that used in this research are CR, DER, TATO and ROE, while the dependent variable that used is profit growth. The method of research that used is quantitative associative. The data that used in this research is panel data, which is a combination of cross section data and time series data that was taken from the financial statements of 31 manufacturing companies base industry and chemical sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the five years the period of 2008-2012. The sampling technique chosen is purposive sampling. This research used multiple linear regression analysis and the technc of analysis that used were descriptive statistics and hypothesis test includes coefficient determination test (R-Square), t-test and F-test. The results of the research shows that simultaneously CR, DER, TATO and ROE have an unsignificant effects to the profit growth. The result of the research partially shows that CR, DER and TATO have an unsignificant effects to the profit growth, while ROE have a significant effects to profit growth.
