Abstract
The title of this final report is The Investigation of the System Management Safety and Health (K3) Implementation at PT Surveyor Indonesia (Persero) Palembang Branch. The purpose of this final report was to investigate the implementation of occupational health and safety system which has been running well and which is in accordance with the standard, and to identify the factors that cause accidents. This final report used qualitative descriptive design, and the data were obtained from interviews and the library research. Besides, they also argued that the company did not specifically have strict supervision of K3 application towards the employees which led to the unawareness of the importance of K3. From the result, it can be concluded that the process of implementation of occupation health and safety system must match the existing standard. Besides, the factors causing the accidents were (1) the employees were indiscipline not following the rules applied in the company, and (2) the lack of supervision of the company on the part of K3 which must be addressed, therefore, it will not disturb the working process of the company. From the description about, some suggestions are drawn. First, the company can improve the quality of safety management systems in the operational implementation of work by acting strictly to those violating the rule by giving punishment, such as giving pay cuts, etc. Second, the company can also improve supervision in the field of K3, therefore, the employees can feel way safer in the work site.
