Abstract
INFLUENCE OF CURRENT RATIO (CR), DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO (DER), NET PROFIT MARGIN (NPM) AND GROSS PROFIT MARGIN (GPM) TOWARD RETURN ON EQUITY (ROE) AT MISCELLANEOUS INDUSTRY COMPANIES LISTED ON INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE Henisah,2014(xiii+44pages) E_mail:henisah.nisa@yahoo.com The purpose is performed in order to test influence of current ratio (cr), debt to equity ratio (der), net profit margin (npm) and gross profit margin (gpm) toward return on equity (roe) at miscellaneous industry companies listed on indonesia stock exchange. The sampling technique used was purposive samples were obtained by 13 companies from 42 companies during the period of 3 years. Technique analysis with multilinier and hypothesis test used simultan F-test, and partial t-test at level of this research in indicate that CR, DER, NPM ang GPM in simultan F-test have significantly influence to ROE. Variable DER and NPM in partial t-test have significantly influence to ROE. While CR and GPM has no effect to ROE. Predictable of the four variables toward ROE is 52,2% as indicated by R square, while the 47,8% is effected by other variable out of this research.
