Abstract
This final report aims to produce a booklet “Traditional Tajung Cloth in Palembang South Sumatera” The bookletis a good medium to promote traditional tajung cloth. A development research method developed by Sukmadinata is used in this research. The problem is “How to design a booklet of Palembang Traditional Tajung Cloth”. The method of this report is Research and Development (R&D), they are (1) Preliminary study (2) Development of the product (3) Testing. The designs were created by the writer and supported by some expert’s suggestion. The writer prepared some data such as information the history, the process to making of Tajung Cloth, variants of pattern, the various kinds of product made of Tajung Cloth, and the list of stores that sell Tajung Cloth. The conclusion is booklet can be can be used as a guidance for tourists and visitors to find the information of Palembang Traditional Tajung Cloth and the suggestion are dissemination is expected to do in the next similar research and the craftsmen do not stop making Tajung Cloth because Tajung Cloth is a very important asset in South Sumatera.
