Abstract
This research aims to find out the translation methods of collocations in the novel ‘The Hunger Games’. The methodology used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The data of this research were collected with documentation method. The problem formulation is ‘what translation methods are used to translate the collocations in the novel ’The Hunger Games?’ . Based on the finding, there were two translation methods that were used in the novel; full and partial. From the total 681 collocations that appeared in the novel 675 (99.12 %) were translated with full translation method, and six (0.88%) were translated with partial translation method. It is concluded that the most dominant translation method of collocations in the novel is the full translation method.
