Abstract
Laporan Akhir ini berjudul “Aplikasi Monitoring Cuaca Jarak Jauh Menggunakan Internet of Thing Berbasis Web”, yang dibuat dengan tujuan memudahkan seseorang untuk mengetahui informasi cuaca di Jurusan Teknik Komputer Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya. Aplikasi monitoring cuaca jarak jauh ini menggunakan sistem berbasis web untuk pengisian data informasi cuaca di Jurusan Teknik Komputer Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya. Bahasa yang digunakan adalah bahasa scripting PHP. Pengaksesan data dilakukan dengan Laptop, Komputer ataupun Smartphone. Web merupakan halaman yang ditampilkan di internet yang memuat informasi tertentu (khusus). Dalam keperluan sehari – hari aplikasi weather pada umumnya digunakan untuk mengetahui keadaan cuaca disuatu tempat secara luas. Aplikasi weather yang memberikan informasi cuaca di suatu tempat secara luas yang mana disetiap tempat terkadang mengalami perbedaan cuaca. Sehingga dibutuhkan aplikasi weather yang memberikan informasi cuaca disuatu tempat secara sempit. Kemajuan teknologi yang semakin pesat, membuat aplikasi weather dapat diaplikasikan dalam bentuk website.
