Abstract

This final report studies about designing cooking video script of Pindang from South Sumatera. This purpose of this research is to find out the design cooking video script about Pindang. And the final products of this research are the cooking script of Pindang and the cooking video of Pindang. In this final report, the writer used Research and Development Design method of Sukmadinata (2015). This method used in order to collect, classify, and describe the process of designing cooking video script of Pindang from South Sumatera. The techniques of collecting the data are literature study, observation, and interview. Then, analyzing the data was done through descriptive method. The data got after following Research and Development Method of Sukmadinata (2015) by literature review, preliminary study, model development, and final product testing but, the writer limited the report until final product and directly disseminate the final product on YouTube because lack of time and money to finished the research in final product testing. In preliminary study, the writer described the result of collecting the data by literature study, field survey, and model draft. In model development, the writer asked some experts in limited field testing and wider field testing. In conclusion, there are some revisions by the experts’ suggestion related to the content and design cooking video script. Next, the writer has some suggestions. First for the linguistic experts are to give the knowledge more detail about the way to write a good script. Second for the owner of Pindang restaurants is to welcome people who come to their restaurants with theirs intention to promote, to ask their help to do interview, and to finish their report to promote Pindang as the traditional food of South Sumatera.
