Abstract
The final report writer about The Role of Office Layout to Smooth The Work Activities and Work Simplication Employees of Unit Admininstration and Financial in AJB BumiPutera 1912 KCB Sekip Palembang. The writer obtained the data by using the method of interviews, observation, questionnaires and literature study. The results of questionnaire was anaylized by using the Sudijono’s formula (2009). The writer found that the office in Unit Administration and Financial was not appropriate yet with the principles and techniques of the office layout arrangement. First, distance of the table. The second, they were not attention of the physical environment conditions like a lighting setting of the head administration and financial room was not comfortable for the employee to do his activities. And the last, the work flow wasn’t clear. Based on the finding, the writer suggests to the company should rearrange their office layout especially, distance of the table between 80 cm and 120 cm, they should set the lighting in the head of administration and financial room, and to make the work flow be clear for the process entry data. Therefore the situation to be better and employees will be fast to completing the tasks and the work simplication can be achieve.
