Abstract
Study Analysis of Rice Husk Utilization as an Adding Fuel at calciner PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (Dian Eka Firdayanti, 2014, 92 pages, 38 tabels, 5 enclosures) The cement industry is an industry that is energy intensive, as it absorbs electrical energy and heat are relatively large. Kiln system is equipment that absorbs the amount of electrical energy and heat energy largest. PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk using coal as the primary fuel and Industrial Diesel Oil (IDO), which is used to start up. These energy sources are energy sources that can not be renewed so that expected in the next few years will be depleted inventories. To anticipate that, PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk does a study conducted by analyzing the teoritical with reference to the operating conditions in the kiln system at calsiner on one way to do that is adding fuel rice husk. The goal is to reduce dependence on non-renewable energy, reduce emissions and can reduce the cost of production. The method used in this study is an experimental method to perform the addition of rice husk variation 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. From the calculation of the best results is the addition of 15%, due to these variations require the least amount of fuel consumption is 791.98 Kcal / kg so as to reduce production costs Rp. 1,452,817, - ton / hour and can reduce up to 9.45% of exhaust gases produced from the burning of coal when compared with coal without adding fuel.
