Abstract

(Neneng Maryani, 67 Halaman, 18 Tabel, 28 Gambar, 4 Lampiran) Kinetika atau laju reaksi adalah perubahan konsentrasi pereaksi ataupun produk dalam suatu satuan waktu. Laju suatu reaksi dapat dinyatakan sebagai laju berkurangnya konsentrasi suatu pereaksi, atau laju bertambahnya konsentrasi suatu produk. Informasi kinetika di gunakan untuk mengetahui secara rinci mekanisme suatu reaksi yaitu langkah-langkah yang di tempuh pereaksi untuk menentukan hasil reaksi tertentu sesuai yang diinginkan. Adapun bahan baku yang digunakan berupa biomassa organik (kubis) yang dikonversi menjadi biogas melalui proses fermentasi. Pada proses fermentasi akan diamati reaksi Hidrolisis, asidogenesis dan metanogenesis melalui pengamatan kondisi operasi reaktor berupa pengecekan temperatur, tekanan dan pH air lindi. Produk biogas dianalisa komposisi mol dan nilai kalornya di Sucofindo, sehingga pada penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mempelajari kinetika konversi biomassa organik menjadi biogas ditinjau dari waktu reaksi substrat dan untuk menentukan konstanta laju reaksi dari kinetika konversi biomassa organik menjadi biogas pada reaktor biogas tipe partition ditinjau dari konsentrasi produk biogas yang dihasilkan. Proses recycle air lindi yang disirkulasikan secara kotinyu dengan variasi recycle flowrate 15 dan 20 L/menit. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat nilai konstanta laju reaksi (k) pada laju alir recycle air lindi 15 L/menit sebesar 0,0443 L mol-1 det-1 dan pada laju alir recycle air lindi 20 L/menit didapat harga k nya sebesar 0,0215 L mol-1 det-1. Kinetics can be expressed as the rate of decrease in the concentration of a reagent, or the rate of increase in concentration of a product. Information used to determine the kinetics of the reaction that the steps in the travel reagent to determine outcome of a particular reaction as desired. The raw materials used in the form of organic biomass (cabbage) are converted into biogas through fermentation process. In the fermentation process will be observed hydrolysis, asidogenesis and metanogenesis reaction through observation such as temperature, pressure and lindi water pH checks. Products were analyzed biogas composition and calorific value of moles in Sucofindo, so this research is to study of the conversion kinetics in terms of substrate reaction time and to determine the rate constant of the reaction kinetics of the conversion organic biomass into biogas in the biogas reactor partition type in terms of concentration product from biogas produced. Lindi water recycle process with flow rate variations are 15 and 20 L/min. From the calculation results obtained the value of constanta reactions (k) lindi water recycle flow rate 15 L/min at 0,0443 L mol-1 det-1 and in the lindi water recycle flow rate 20 L/min have value of k is 0,0215 L mol-1 det-1.
