Abstract
This practice report made as a prerequisite for completing the Diploma of Education at the State of Polytechnic Srivijaya. The title of Practical Work Report is "The Information Systems of Civil Servants Promotion of South Sumatra". The purpose of this information systems is to assist the A Subdivision Officer for processing the data in the promotion ofcivil servants inputting, searching, and processing the data promotion quickly and easily. The author found several problems in data processing promotions that data processing is done by collecting data is then processed using Microsoft Word, printed and stored in file cabinets. The data processing takes a long time and complicate the process of promotion. To that end, the author tries to make a information systems of promotion on the High Court of South Sumatra using Macromedia Dreamweaver CS5 Web Editor and Database MySQL. With the establishment of the information systems, the process of filing expected promotion to the High Court of South Sumatra, can run better.
