Abstract

RF power amplifier is a device which have function to amplify the signal frequency. The example of application RF power amplifier is transmitter. The tool design for module have purpose to support practical activity in telecommunication laboratory. To create this module, then designed driver circuit which has function as second level of amplifier in circuit module that designed. This circuit is using A class amplifier with 2SD400 transistor as the main component, this component has output power maximum 750 mW. The result which obtained from the experiment state that the driver is working optimally in the range frequency 1 MHz to 3 MHz with the gain power occured at a frequency of 1 MHz with a power input in 6 dbm is 21,34 db and the biggest voltage gain is at 1 MHz with the power input 6 dbm is 24,08 db.
